Free admission!! Don't let them try and trick ya! You pay for snorkeling (not sure how much, we brought our own) and food. We got amazing massages right there, on the beach! Amazing view, water and staff were awesome! We will be back!

Taxi drivers tried to tell us this place charged a 20/person cover charge. This is false. This restaurant/bar was a great place for us to spend our day off the cruise ship. We were seated right by the water with easy access to stairs to the water for snorkeling and swimming. There were ample beach chairs and umbrellas for resting. Food was a little pricey, but portions were very generous. And when you factor in the location, amenties, and attentive service, it was a good value. We were very happy we went here instead of paying for a cruise excursion.

We stopped by this place after I did some reading. Taxi driver didn’t want to take me there. I see why, they don’t rip you off. The food was amazing, and so was the service. They didn’t charge an admission price and there is a large sign displaying this at the entrance. My back was hurting and luckily I was approached by an unassuming 4 foot something Mexican lady for a massage. She gave me the best massage of my life. I first decided on a 30 minute and opted to change to an hour midway. The snorkeling is amazing and all the excursions are dropping off folks right off the beach to snorkel. Plenty of friendly fish and coral. The bathrooms are neat and clean and they provide showers. I will return on my next visit.

My adult daughter and I came to Cozumel for our birthdays and stayed across from Money Bar. We loved it there! The food was so good and fresh, live music was top-notch! They had snorkeling, and we had morning massages! That was the best part... best we've ever had... right by the water with a breeze.

This is our first time eating at Money Bar (Jan 2025). We usually go here to catch boats for snorkeling. These are the things I like about this Beach club/bar. 1. It is pretty chill. There may be solicitors about but if you smile and say “no gracias” all is good. The people who work here are nice and the perfect amount of attentiveness. 2. The views are spectacular and all the seats in the house and on the outside deck have good views. There aren’t really any bad seats. 3. The restaurant, and all facilities are clean, well kept and seem to run flawlessly. 4. They cooked our fresh catch!! We had so much fish and it was one of the places we went with the catch. It was not the least expensive BUT, the garlic buttter cooked fish was AMAZING.... We also had some fried and it was really well cooked also. THANK YOU CHEF! 5. The snorkel area looks like a good one and we have seen many people both inside and outside of the ropes spend a lot of time in the water so there must be something to see! Overall, I like the Money Bar and its proximity to the downtown. If you want a beach club where you can snorkel, eat, drink, and soak up some rays I think this one gets you far enough away from the downtown to feel “out of town” but still close enough in for reasonable taxi fares etc.

After having been fleeced at the playa palancar beach club, we were apprehensive to go here, but it was a wonderful pleasant surprise. We were met with a very welcoming smile when we entered, the place was very lovely and busy, clean and very welcoming, our server was very attentive and warm, found us a table right bu the water. and the whole place just had a great vibe. Their resident reef is nice and clean, great snorkelling and there were tour boats coming in to snorkel in this area, we would absolutely be back. Notably- this place had no entry fee, just play for food/ drinks and can use the facilities and go in and out of water. Great spot in Cozumel right on the water slightly hidden away, great little spot to spend a day at. We will be back!

We actually did the last minute tour with the money bar stand in front of the cruise docks. The guide (I think his name was Faizel) took us around the island to several really cool places and finally to the restaurant where we had fajitas and tacos (included with the tour price). We had such a great time!

The place was very clean. Servers were very nice and attentive. Our favorite part was snorkeling! Alejandro was an amazing guide. We talked about the coral reef and the impact sun block has on the growth rate and success of the coral reef and the animals that live in it. If you Love the ocean, be mindful of what product you use before swimming in it.
